| Comments: The Groundhogs had now taken on their mentor's name "John Lee" in recognition of the influence that John Lee Hooker made. The A side to the single I'll Never Fall In Love Again is very much in the traditional blues/soul style. A manner that would later be called northern soul. The track opens with some very raunchy brass with Tony's vocals cutting across in great style. The guitar solo is simple but effective never detracting from the plaintive sound of the vocals. The B side Over you Baby is in the same idiom. Both sides have a good guitar input with jaunty brass providing a very pop feel to both tracks. Well worth a listen.
