I think it may be safe to say that if you've been searching around the web looking for trawler-related sites, you will have chanced upon a site that deals with Consolidated Fisheries of Grimsby. You may also have noticed that it has remained the same since god-knows-when and the reason for that is that the chap who originated the site cannot update or maintain it any more.
How do I know all this? Well the chap who put that site online in the first place is me. And the reason I can't update/maintain it? Well, to tell the truth, I lost my log-in details some time ago and although I've tried to contact the host ISP numerous times, it has proved fruitless.

So why am I telling you all this? Well, as the subject of 'Consols' is a bit of a passion of mine (isn't that right Steve?) and I've become frustrated with not being able to maintain the site as I wanted to - except to re-write the whole thing - I've decided to bring that site 'home' to SideWinder and take it from there.
Over the coming weeks I'll be resurrecting the Consols site here as a special section of SideWinder and updating/expanding it as I go along as much as I possibly can. In this way, I can perhaps make it the Consol's site that I always had the intention to.
