 The club had a week touring in Scotland, and played most days, some photographs taken during this week are included in the photo gallery for those interested in viewing. 

2007.

Are you looking to join a friendly, social yet competitive bowls club ? then read on.

Holwell B C is a MIXED club situated in the village of Holwell off the A600 North of Hitchin. It has six rinks and a very reasonably priced bar in the clubhouse.

This club is amongst the most friendly in the area and everyone who visits the club are always welcomed by the club members. The club is renowned for its hospitality and has a good social scene.

During the close season the club held an indoor carpet bowls league, cards dominoes and scrabble on Friday evenings. This proved to be a very popular event and was well attended by the members. A weekly meat raffle held at 9.30pm, was a huge success and the club has attracted some new members as a result for the start of the 2008 season.

New bowlers and established ones are always welcome to come along and try the clubs facilities before joining as either a full member or a social member. The green is open every Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6.00 pm for general roll ups, and is open other nights if competitions or matches are being played.
