Astley assulted the Abbot servantsand tried to kill him and his servants
The Abbot had a warrent against Astley from the justicesof the peace for the arrest of Astley and his servants, all who took part.
They had to give a surity of £100 to keep the peace.
It seems to be the fight was about paying taxes to the Abbot.
