Margaret Malefant (Nee Astley) b. 1367
Complained after the death of her husband, to the King that, Lewis Layton promised her mother Jane Astley that he would bring her safe to London but he took her to park of Prys, Gower then to Glamorgan where he inprisioned her and starved her for three days, she was taken to church of Tythegston where he married her against her willt hough she was pregnant by her husband, he then took her to Turbervyle's house at Tythegsyon, and rapes her, this was Friday after St John the babtist, 27 Jun 1438.
