Alternatives - Pregnancy Crisis Centre
A place to turn when pregnancy is a problem

- Trained advisors
- Confidential, sensitive support and information
- Help for partners and other family members
- Help for those troubled by a past abortion or miscarriage
At present you can phone or text for help and to arrange an appointment to talk further with one of our trained advisors. We are hoping early next year to have a drop in session in the Ashwood Centre.
Alternatives - Sexual Health Education
We have a number of volunteer educators committed to enabling young people to make wise informed decisions about:
- Sex and Relationships
- Sexually Transmitted Infections
- H.I.V. and A.I.D.s
- Abortion Issues
- Prejudice
At present they regularly visit local secondary schools taking lessons.
Lessons include
- Lively fun presentations
- Correct information
- Thought provoking discussion
- Group activities
- Improving self esteem
