The Old Bournemouthians Association exists to enable past pupils of Bournemouth School (East Way, Bournemouth, UK) to keep in touch with one another and with the current developments within the school.
We have a varied programme of activities during the year. We have annual golf days with the Old Tauntonians and on the day of the annual dinner.
The main event of each year is the Annual Dinner, which was held on Friday 19th September 2008. The venue was the Queens Hotel, Bournemouth.
The new Sir David English Sports Hall is complete and was opened in December 1999.
In January 2001 the School's centenary celebrations were celebrated.
We publish two newsletters a year, sent to members anywhere in the world, currently including Australia, Canada and The Bahamas! These are usually published in Spring and Autumn. Submissions for the newsletters are always welcome, particularly news of Old Boys. Details of how to send these can be found here.
The Association supported the football club for many seasons prior to its closure this season. At present there is a move to re-form the cricket club.
All this for a cost of £5 a year. This also entitles members to a discount on the price of the Annual Dinner. If you would like to join, please go to the membership page.
