7/5/2009 - Lots of lovely new
stuff for all you lovely people. Lovely. Got a handful of new dates for
the summer, with some potentially on the way, but more on those as and
when. Mosey on over to the
GIGS page
for more info.
If you've yet to buy your
copy of Orfeo (or Another Time for that matter), you can purchase it
through the medium of PayPal on our
online shop
or by taking liberties with the exact same PayPal
buttons on our
MySpace page.

23/3/2009 - It lives! The
brand new EP Orfeo is now available for digital download from iTunes,
Napster, Play Digital and TONS more.
to go the HeKz micro site for links to the plethora of digital outlets
from where you can get yer hands on the new tunes.
If you're holding out for a
physical copy of the EP, PayPal buttons will be going online this week, so
keep checking back for further updates.
Hope y'all like it =).

13/3/2009 - WAHEY! It's been
a bit of a wait but at long last the new CD is good to go. Expect to see
some nifty PayPal buttons appearing on the site within the next week, and
if all goes to plan there may be a nifty new page on iTunes on 23/3
wherein you may purchase your very own digital copy of "Orfeo." If you
have yet to do so, read the
latest blog
on our MySpace page, it may prove to any and all torn between downloading
the EP from iTunes or buying a physical copy from the online shop.
Changing the subject slightly, some
of y'all may remember that we had to cancel a couple of shows at the start
of year because Kirk had sustained a serious spinal injury. Rest assured
that he is well on his way to recovery and will be back behind on the drum
stool in no time at all. Filling his rather sizeable drumming shoes in the
meantime is the multi-talented Mr Fergus Shipman, who bears a striking
resemblance to Howlin' Barney Cool from the Captain Loveguns Band (???).
Needless to say we are all looking forward to playing with Ferg on our
forthcoming shows in April and May.

4/3/2009 - Some very exciting
stuff indeed. All of the master documents have now been sent off for
duplication, so its now a matter of mere days until the new EP's printed,
packaged and ready to go. In addition to that we are currently waiting for
the EP to be digitized for release on iTunes on one of two provisional
dates, either the 23/3 or 30/3. Needless to say, once this date has been
confirmed we'll be yelling it from the rooftops, as well as letting you
all know the very SECOND we receive the physical copies.
In the meantime there is something
I will take this opportunity to make known at an excessive volume - on
Friday 1st May we will be supporting Scotland's own purveyors of Celtic
Pirate Metal ALESTORM
and the Faroe Islands' Folk Metal Masters
TYR.
Tickets can be purchased online at
www.wegottickets.com
. If there's enough interest we may
just do a minibus, so get in touch via any of the following -

29/1/2009 - In this topsy
turvy world of rock n roll its seems that the troughs are never too far
behind the peaks. Unfortunately we are having to cancel the remaining
shows we have scheduled for January and February, as Kirk has recently
sustained a spinal injury and is on doctors orders to lay off of the drums
for a couple of months to give his body time to heal. We have every
confidence that Kirk will be fighting fit and back on the drum stool in no
time at all. We will still be performing live on BBC 3 Counties Radio
tomorrow night between 7-8pm, so make sure you tune in.
It would be all to easy to be
disheartened by a blow like this, but instead of feeling sorry for
ourselves we will be making good use of the time by ensuring as many of
you hear the new EP through a multitude of other avenues. I'll still be
keeping the website up to date, so make sure you check back for sneaky
snippets of new material and (hopefully) some nice new reviews! Thank you
for your continued support, we'll see y'all real soon.

24/1/2009 -
After what seems like,
and indeed has been, forever, HeKz.co.uk is back online! Now, things may
be a looking a bit bare at the minute, but it'll start to come together
over the next couple of weeks with lots of lovely brand new STUFF! For
now, leave us some love on the guestbook or head on over to our
MySpace profile and check out "Breakout" from the forthcoming EP.
