Text Box: Welcome to Windyhill, Few experiences in life enhance the joy of living more than a dining experience; good wines, fresh local produce and service are all elements in a restaurant that create a culinary adventure! To work in a restaurant is to give your all, it’s not a job to pay the bills and go home, and you need to work, work and work. When everyone else is celebrating we are always to be found behind the stoves or serving tables. Long hours are the norm, it’s what we do, it’s our life and we cannot beat it. The quality of produce is everything; our suppliers are our life line for fish, meat, vegetables and wines. Good food depends almost entirely on good ingredients, afterwards comes the method, skill and technique of a chef. Windyhill’s style is modern, traditional dishes with a lighter and less rich approach influenced by Scottish ingredients and flavours and wines paired with the food are the qualities of Windyhill Restaurant. Our menu can fill everyone’s needs, one, two or three courses all freshly prepared using seasonal and where possible local and organic produce.
