CHURCH POLICY STATEMENT

North Harrow Methodist Church seeks to

• enable individuals to worship together
• create spiritual growth
• provide support, fellowship and care
• present the Christian faith as relevant to all

CHURCH PRIORITY STATEMENT

• Improve the creche facilities
• Add to the present worship life of the church by seeking ways to facilitate different forms and styles of worship, especially in the morning
• Revamp and revise our local song book
• Reorganise the system for basic pastoral care in the church and train the leaders
• Create a new structure to provide for fellowshp groups and study opportunities
• Explore ways of meeting the spiritual needs of those who use our premises
• Provide sites for the dispplay of materials both inside and outside the buildings
• Produce new "materials"
• Consider the use of the Church building and the possible re-design of some or all of the premises

How are we doing - so far the follow has been accomplised

• The creche has been refurbished. New murals have been added to the walls making it a much ligter place for the very tiny ones to meet.
• The old "Sing a new Song" was replaced by "Music for the Millennium". This is regularly used in our worship services.
• A new sign acing the traffic ligts has been erected to advertise our presence to those passing by.
• A Church Directory, new church logo and a church information leaflet have all been produced.
• There is considerable activity currently underway to consider the means of entrance and egress to the premises, including allowance for the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act.
