Junior Church

This year as in previous years the Young Church has continued to play an important role in the life of the church. The children continue to join with the rest of the church at the end of the service on most weeks when they share what they have been doing with the congregation. The children like to feel part of the church and I believe the adults enjoy it too!

They also took part in a number of special Services, in September the children brought Harvest gifts and in December at the toy service the children brought toys. These gifts went to the Welldon Centre in Harrow where they were greatly appreciated. The children also led the nativity service in December this year. The unusual retelling of the Christmas story brought home the Christmas message to us all. The children continue to be involved in the family communion services where the groups take it in turns to make the bread.

The J Team is led by Ann Sylvester and Katrina Pearn. They have asked if there is anyone who would be prepared to help on an occasional Sunday morning to cover occasions when one of them is absent. This would help to ensure that there are always 2 adults with the group. If anyone feels that they can offer help in this way please email to nhmcweb@nhmc.org.uk.

The Young Church would like to thank all the leaders and helpers for the time that they devote to preparation and on Sunday mornings. The young people obviously enjoy their time in their groups on Sundays and grow in their knowledge of the love of Christ.
