Planning a birthday party?   We can offer up to an hour of fun music for only £60.

Bee Sharp offers children from nine months to five years a fun introduction to music and musical activities. Our programme supports learning in the music

foundation stages of the National Curriculum. Each 40 minute session consists of a carefully structured program, including:

  • singing
  • playing instruments
  • movement
  • action songs and nursery rhymes
  • stories and poems
  • drama
  • listening and appraising
  • dance

The classes each have a theme and cover the basics in pitch, rhythm, tempo and dynamics. The objective is to nurture, in an enjoyable way, each child's skills in

  • physical coordination
  • listening skills
  • emerging literacy
  • numeracy
  • language
  • confidence
  • independence
  • social skills
  • musicality

Introducing music in a structured format at an early age benefits a child's overall development. There is a considerable crossover between musical skills and other intellectual and social skills.

Testimonials

“It’s my son’s favourite time of the week – we sing the songs all the time and his physical co-ordination has really improved.”  Fran, Mum to Sam, 3 years

“Thank you very much for the wonderful lessons. I really think that all the songs helped Oliver get going with his spoken language. Oliver has really loved coming and you know what? I’ve loved it too!”  Sally, Grandma to Oliver
