Gentle
Yoga
This
is a very gentle class suitable for those with chronic illness,
physical difficulties or recovering from operations. Simple
movements gently exercise all parts of the body, promoting
suppleness in the spine and joints and aiding the body’s own
healing powers. Simple breathing, visualization and meditation
techniques help to reduce stress, bringing inner calm and harmony,
leaving you with a sense of well-being and increased vitality.
Most activities are taught either sitting or lying and students are
encouraged to work at their own pace. I am experienced at
adapting practices to suit the individual’s needs.
Please
bring a mat and a blanket.
