- this version needs Microworlds plug-in - which may not be present on College machines (follow this link for instructions on dowloading and installing on your own computers). These notes are written about this first version - but would apply to any version of this game.
- whilst this version may say that it requires the Chinese character set to be installed - click on Cancel - the game still plays.
Controlling UNIT - an on-screen robot - notes. A Mars bar for the first person who writes a program to pop all the balloons!

Whole class - Use Counter(sorry not on college machines) to find the speed in m.p.h. of the following speed limits in km/hr: Motorways - 120; Highways - 90k; Towns - 50 (essentially a ratio problem 5 miles=8 km). View notes - (download the resource as a ZIP archive on your own or school computers).

Look at some of the problems presented on the TES Brainteaser page. Could ICT be used to help solve any of these? Work individually or in small groups - explain your suggestions to the whole class.
