FDG202 - Organising and managing the teaching of Numeracy and ICT


Messages for course members:

22nd June - my session will be first, starting at 4:15 in H512 agian. I've put the new times on the scheme page - and left 30 minutes (5:15 to 5:45) as a tea break - hope this is ok.

For those who I won't see again, who left before I remembered to wish them good luck for next year - good luck with next year and have a good summer. For those who are taking part in the sponsored run - hope you do well - I didn't offer to sponsor any you, 'cos I'm sponsoring someone from work.

Outcomes

Successful completion of this module will enable students to demonstrate
    knowledge and understanding of:

  1. how pupils can be most effectively supported to learn mathematics utilising a range of resources and developing problem-solving approaches to learning.
  2. the features and functions of ICT: Speed and automaticity, capacity and range, provisionality and interactivity in the context of supporting pupils' mathematics.

  5. competently use ICT resources at the level of a general user.
