We were invited by North City Library to have a stall, selling crafts and cakes, at their Summer Fete.
Members of the congregation baked and made cards and donated them to sell on the stall, the proceeds going to Church funds. Information leaflets about the Church and it's activities were also available showing the community the many varied activities that we have on our premises.
A good afternoon was enjoyed by all who attended.
November 2008 - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Kid's Praise Theatre Workshop's production, at Middleton Civic Hall, during the 1st weekend in November was once again excellent.
The production was a departure from their usual pantomime / musical shows. It was a challenge for a young cast which they all rose to. The cast had a lot more dialogue to learn and there was a great deal of music for the live band. The scene shifters worked really hard - better than going to the gym.
The children from Sunday Club all played their parts well and the band gets bigger and better every show. It was encouraging to see at least 40 youngsters on the stage for the finale. They all put so much effort into the show and the weekly rehearsals, as do the grown ups. It is a privilage to be able to attend the show and Kid's Praise deserves our support for the work they do.
July 2008 - Leprosy Mission Sponsored Walk across Morecambe Bay
Most of the money is now to hand and is in excess of £600! A truly remarkable achievement. All our walkers collected sponsor money as well as that which our church family contributed. This also includes £37 donations given at Margaret and Graham’s film evenings. I thank all of you who helped to make this a really memorable event, and especially Margaret, Graham,Bob,Harry, Margaret and Ubongabasi who did the really hard bit! The Leprosy Mission can work miracles with £600.
Thank you so much, Margaret Pierce TLM Secretary.

Sunday 5th August 2007 - Lakeside Service - Hollingworth Lake
A combined outdoor service, was held, joining with members from the Churches in Littleborough, at Hollingworth Lake, led by Rev's Margaret & Daniel Mwailu. We were blessed with a very warm summers evening. The singing was led by Moston choir who also sang two pieces by John Rutter; "All things Bright and Beautiful" and "For the Beauty of the Earth" which were very appropriate as we gazed across the beautiful countryside. Daniel's message was based on the story of the "Prodigal Son" focussing on the words "give me" an appropriate message for this day and age.
