Welcome to all new students (and their parents). We would like to
take this opportunity to welcome you to the Kobukan Karate Club, and

Would all Students that have received their first
Grade please note that they
require an AIWAKAI Licence for future Gradings.
Please make sure you get an
application form from one of your sensei’s as it
is your responsibility to have a
Valid Licence. Also you will require a Grading
syllabus which contains the
techniques you need for each Grade.
Equipment : Anyone requiring any new Gi’s, Mitts,
Badges or a
Grading syllabuses please fill in an order form.

Some events are taken from the Wado-Kai squad
training and competition diary. The training sessions are open to all
England Wado-Kai students and will be aimed mainly at kumite and kata with
other karate aspects hopefully being provided.The competition squad is being
built with regard to the future with its primary aims being the yearly
European event. People who wish to be considered for selection to the squad
to compete in the Europeans must be over 16 years of age at the time of the
competitions and have attended all training sessions. Selection to compete
in the competitions will be by the squad coach at the training sessions.

Seniors - Kata and Kumite,18 years old and above.
Cadets - Kata 15 to 17 years old, Kumite 16 - 17 years old.
(The difference in ages for cadets is for insurance reasons.)
