The Conservatives are looking to win Hatfield Town Council from
Labour
. We believe we could change the Town Council for the better by making it a partner in Government rather than a competitor. To do this we need people from all walks of life who wish to change Hatfield Town Council for the better. Otherwise we will be looking like a bunch of grumpy old men with an axe to grind and not much else.
Being a Conservative Town Councillor
Being a Town Councillor is to ensure the money raised from Hatfield Council taxpayers is spent on what Hatfield needs and what the people want.

There are two main versions to being a Town Councillor. These are in opposition and in power. At the moment we are in opposition. You should attend a meeting, on average, every three weeks. The meetings come in lumps rather than being evenly spread out. Meeting usually take place on a Wednesday at 7.30pm but sub-committees meet during the day time on various days. Meetings can last for 15 minutes or take hours. There is a group meeting to be added into the equation which takes place as and when needed.
