Football on The Green
There seemed to be pressure from a number of residents in The Ryde for the
Town Council to effectively ban football from the green area. At a Leisure
Committee meeting the Conservatives pushed for and got the issue to be taken
to the residents and a meeting was held at the end of August 2002.
The Conservatives view this a public space for the use of the public and
few restrictions should be put on its' use as is possible.
The Ryde Area
A resident has raised concerns over the state of the roads in The Ryde area
and some of them look very rotten. We have been in touch with the highways
authority about some of these problems and potential problems. If you have
