This site is run by the Conservative Councillors representing Hatfield East Ward on Welwyn Hatfield Council within the civil parish of Hatfield and including the civil parish of Essendon, all in the County of Hertfordshire.

Whilst this site is specifically aimed at the ward of Hatfield East we welcome comments from all Hatfield residents.

All links, including some polls, to other sites are not the responsibility of the site owners and therefore content should be treated with caution.

Our Policy on the use of individual details.

We have a general policy of confidentiality of all correspondence received via this website and will treat any information as private. We will always ask permission to publish any comments and obtain that permission from you before doing so.

The exceptions to the rule are the following:

Guestbook entries may be published in full.

Information received which can be classified as a complaint to which a specific name and address will be needed to sort the problem out. An example is our Refuse Collection Survey where, if there is a problem, your address will be needed so the District Council can correct the problem.

The Updates Service will mean your name and e-mail address is kept by us and an e-mail will be sent to you when this website is updated. We will not use your e-mail address for anything else.
