Freedom

Freedom is like a kiss
and the truth to you I impart.
That God has a simple message
to reach your very heart.

It's one of His love;
that releases you from fear,
and tells you when you're alone
it's o.k. I'm here.

The knowledge that He never leaves,
and even that He doesn't forsake.
Keeps a good security for you and me,
that evil will not keep up its wake.

It's also one of judgment,
for the evil one still snares.
But God judges each and every-thing
through Jesus who loves and cares.

The law can bring you structure,
and bring you pride and place too.
But Grace is from and to our God,
who fulfilled the law for you.

So freedom is simply like that Kiss,
and a short message between me and you.
That whatever chains bind you down today,
God has the Key to help you through.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ
has made us free, and do not be entangled again 
with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1 NKJV )
