Millennium Bug

My computer has a bug,
I can't call it a cold.
It simply makes the date wrong,
and won't do as it's told.

I make angry gestures,
and take off the computer case.
Then search all four corners,
but still no trace.

So I apply some ant killer,
to defeat the unseen bug.
Still it remained there,
I felt like a mug.

Then ! an update came,
called a software patch.
Provided freely,
Making the bug much simpler to catch.

My computer now,
Is back in it's place.
With the millennium bug,
without a trace.
