Walt Disney's original Florida park and still regarded as the most magical of all theme parks. Daily parades, character greets and a fantastic firework display round off every evening. The second park in the Florida Disney portfolio, EPCOT's focus is on the future, and the world today. Two entirely different areas will occupy a day here - Future World, with attractions such as SOARIN', Test Track, and Mission Space; and World Showcase, a celebration of worldwide cultures, arts and crafts. In typical Disney tradition, your day here will end with a fireworks show, currently the spectacular IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, a laser and pyrotechnic display over the Showcase Lagoon.

Lights! Camera! Action! A celebration of sound and stage, Disney's MGM Studios park is full to the brim with rides, shows, shops, and restaurants. Take on the formidable Tower of Terror, turn your world upside down on Rock n Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith, and be sure to end your night with the unbeatable night show, Fantasmic. Turn up early for it, or better yet, book a dinner reservation at Hollywood & Vine, Brown Derby or Primetime Cafe and get priority seating for the show.

Spent some time in the other Disney parks looking for your favourite friends from movies such as Lion King and a Bug's Life? Here is the place to find them. Simba and his friends have their own festival in Camp Minnie-Mickey, you can take a peek into Flick's world underneath the Tree of Life in It's Tough To Be A Bug, you can ride the wildwaters of the Kali River Rapids, and now you can come face to face with the Abominable Snowman on Expedition Everest, another 'Mountain' attraction under Disney's hat (excuse the pun). Be sure to take a ride out to Rafiki's Planetwatch and see the great conservation work taking place all over the world.

Come for a shopping session, drop the kids in DisneyQuest (or take part yourself and try not to look too silly...) and grab a bite in the multitude of restaurants and snack bars here at Downtown Disney. By day you can shop, eat and play, and by night the whole area comes to life with the Pleasure Island night clubs, DisneyQuest and all the shops and restaurants open till late, and of course, the cinema. Make sure you try the world-famous Ghirardelli's chocolate, either as a bar or as a milkshake.

A freak typhoon hit central Florida some years ago, and left behind the tropical oasis of Typhoon Lagoon. Chill out, ride the waves and flumes, and try not to get too sunburnt!

An interesting way to spend a few hours on a rainy day (it may be Florida, but it does happen occasionally!), take the monorail from hotel to hotel, sample the food and drink, and watch the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach of the Polynesian.
