Apple Pipe
The feeding methods outlined in this section
require prior preparation in terms of making devices for use by the animals, including
items that must be opened or manipulated to obtain food, frames to hold food items, and
containers that randomly release food such as insects.

Metal pipe bolted onto the wall,
3-5 feet long by 4 inches wide, with small holes every 2-3 inches along length. One end is
sealed, and round fruit or hard-boiled eggs is placed at this end, to be worked along the
pipe with fingers or tools. |
