| For various reasons (time constraints,
hotel location etc.) we didn't get a chance to visit Wet
'n Wild until our 5th visit to Orlando. There are now so
many attractions in the Orlando area that you need to set
a hectic pace to "do" everything in 14 days. Wet 'n Wild was worth waiting for however - a great water park with something for everybody. All the water chutes and other attractions are built around the central Surf Lagoon. |

| Young children are adequately catered for in their own
Kids Park just to the left of the main entrance while their older siblings
and adventurous parents can enjoy the delights of, to name just a few,
The Black Hole (water chute in complete darkness) The Storm (water chute
simulating a tornado) or The Bomb Bay (ever wanted to be dropped out
of a B52?)
Graeme especially enjoyed the Knee Ski area where a pulley system connects with a hand grip to pull you around a large lagoon while kneeling on a surf board. This takes a bit of getting used to but he managed to get half way round on his 4th attempt. (If you fall off before the first turn you are allowed a second attempt without having to rejoin the queue) |

| Family raft rides, raging rapid water
chutes and a lazy river all help to make this a most
enjoyable full day or half day trip. Note: at time of writing Wet 'n Wild were offering special discounts for afternoon and evening visits |
