A fascinating new car stunt show "Lights, Motors, Action" reveals some of the secrets behind the filming of car chase sequences. Don't miss the "Hollywood Hotel" (Tower of Terror), the superb theatre for the "Beauty and the Beast" stage show and the purpose built amphitheatre which stages "Fantasmic" twice nightly. |

Other, not to be missed, attractions
include, the "Great Movie Ride", the "4D
Muppet Movie" - hilarious 3D film + live action;
"Voyage of the Little Mermaid" - a beautiful
show set in an "underwater theatre" &
"The Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular" - a
behind the scenes look at special effects. (TIP: Sit to
the right hand side of the Indiana Jones stadium and you
will be closer to the action packed finale.) The back stage tour is worth doing if the queue is not too long. The final part of the tour takes you through "Catastrophe Canyon". Every time we have taken this tour our bus has been stuck in the canyon during a live take - we must just be very unlucky - I am sure your tour will be OK! |
| The main day parade usually features characters from current
Disney movies.
"The Tower of Terror" is certainly worth doing. Small children and those of a nervous disposition can view the majority of the hotel and its creepy basement then leave before entering the elevators for the ride. (Don't worry, contrary to all the advertising hype you actually sit - not stand - in the elevators, but be prepared to leave your tummy at the top!). |

| Restaurants are plentiful and varied. We
usually eat our evening meal at "Pizza
Planet"(near the Muppet Movie) cinema but on our
first visit we paid out a bit more to experience the
SCI-FI Diner, a Drive-In movie theatre. Lots of fun but
you usually have to book to get "parked" in
here. Round off the evening by taking your seats to view "Fantasmic" - wonderful!!! |
