In keeping with other Disney theme parks around the
world, Disneyland Paris is divided into the usual five themed
lands.
Main Street USA leads from the entrance plaza down to Sleeping Beautys castle and is lined with an assortment of shops and cafes. Two covered walkways also run parallel to Main Street and serve as useful thoroughfares during inclement weather.
4 other lands are accessible from the central square in front of the castle.
Frontierland.
Here you will find Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - a runaway mine train ride. In Disneyland Paris the main part of the ride is located on an island in the centre of a large lake. The trains reach the island through underground tunnels which feature as part of this high speed ride. The haunted mansion where 999 ghosts are dying to meet you and the new Chaparral Theatre are also found here. Grab a few minutes relaxation by sailing on board either the stern-wheeler Mark Twain or the side-wheeler Molly Brown along the Rivers of the Far West.

Adventureland Caves, waterfalls, rope bridges and lookout points are all waiting to be explored. See if you can find Ben Gunns treasure chest buried deep inside the Keelhaul Caverns. |
Fantasyland
Guaranteed to delight every child with its fairytale themed rides. New attractions have opened here since our first visit in 1992. The delightful Casey Jr circus railway and the canal boat ride are found towards the rear of Fantasyland.
Swirling teacups, flying Dumbos, an Alice in Wonderland maze and a journey through the countries of Small World all make for hours of enjoyment.
If the park opens late during your stay make sure you return to Discoveryland in the evening to view the dazzling colours illuminating the buildings.
