The Soundbiter is the Glock of the .22 moderator market. Its revolutionary polymer body design aids low weight and limits maintenence. Like the Glock it's also field stripable with no tools. Unlike the Glock I can put it in the dishwasher if it gets really filthy. My current shooting club now mandates the use of Sound Moderators on its outdoor range to limit the impact of our Sport on our neighbours.

I have been a Sounbiter owner since 1993 and actually still use an original model that I have owned for 12 years. Even now there are few alternatives that offer:
1 Greatly reduced Acoustic Signature of the Firearm it is applied to
2 Featherweight compact design adds little to a rifle's overall portability envelope
3 Simple design that facilitates straightforward maintenence
