The Soundbiter is a super lightweight sound moderator designed to support .22 rimfire and .22 air rifle applications. It is designed to minimise the need for ear defenders and is used for sporting activities, pest control and target sports.

To optimise weight reduction and sound resonance, the body is manufactured from an advanced co-polymer composite which keeps the total weight under 2.5 oz (70 gms.) The internal stainless steel parts are self aligning which eliminates the need for any tooling on reassembly. In addition to low weight the soundbiter is also incredibly compact at only 4.25" (105mm) overall length.

In Europe the use of sound moderators is supported by Health & Safety legislation for employees who carry out pest control with firearms. In the UK, Target Shooters are increasingly being asked to use sound moderators to limit the impact of noise pollution on outdoor ranges.
