AR15 .22 Rimfire with Soundbiter BB
The AR15 is also available in .22 rimfire. There are two main ways to achieve this, firstly one can buy an expensive .22 rimfire upper or alternatively purchase a cheaper calibre converter which replaces the .223 bolt. Regardless of the method chosen the Soundbiter TB or Soundbiter BB can then be attached to the AR15.

The picture opposite shows a bull barrel AR15 fitted with a calibre converter. A Volquartsen converter is in use to convert the 13/16 thread to 0.5x20 thread. The Soundbiter BB is then screwed to the Volquartsen converter in the same way as a 1022 with a bull barrel.
