   Grandfather John William Caig (b. 16 April 1892) travelled with older brother James Caig (b. ca. 1890) and younger brother Robert Caig

   (b. ca. 1894), all of Peat Hill Farm, Parton, to Australia, then to Canada. James returned to Scotland, John William and Robert settled in

   Canada.

   Family Origin - Castle Douglas Scotland, and nearby villages.

   Head of family tree - g.g.grandfather James Caig (b 12/12/1822) wife Agnes Duff.
