Alex Parks Fansite

The name of this site is derived from an Alex Parks song, from this singer/songwriter's debut album Introduction. The members came together in the hot summer of 2003, shortly after Alex first appeared on Fame Academy 2 in August of that year.

The main purpose of this site is to share News; Information; Media; Photo's; and discuss all and anything related to Alex Parks. This homesite is really just a very small front window for the "Dirty Pretty Words" forum where you will find much more. The membership is open to all.

There are members who are singers; songwriters; musician's; artist's; web designer's; writer's and poet's, and you'll find no shortage of talent in this forum. The discussion's are wide and varied, or simple and funny. Member's post a lot, or sometimes not at all. It's a matter of your choice, and you can post or just read what other's write.

You will find a biography of Alex in here, but there are continuous thread's on various artist's in the forum. In particular: Tegan and Sara; and Avril Lavigne. You'll find a brief bio here too. The tv series "The L-Word" also has on ongoing thread that shares discussion; information and media. There are in fact no restrictions of topic, these are just popular favourites.

The forum is well moderated to ensure a safe environment for all, and you'll find lot's of people willing to give advice on any issue from tweaking your pc to writing a song. Everyone is welcome and you'll find a hungry audience if you know of some good music, then come and share it. You don't have to be an Alex Parks fan, although you might well become one.
