One hundred years of history are celebrated in the publication of "The Journey" - the story of St. Andrew's East Church of Scotland in Glasgow. This 260 page book, with illustrations, costs £5 plus postage and can be obtained either  from its editor May Habbick or myself

The Old Glasgow Club was formed in 1900 for all those interested in the city.  It's membership hold meetings throughout the year with talks on various aspects of the city's history.   In 2000 it published its Centenary Handbook 1900-2000.  This contains articles on a wide variety of historical topics relating to old Glasgow.  Copies can be obtained through the Club's web site priced at £5 plus postage & packing;

One-time minister to the presently named Bridgeton St. Francis-in-the-East Church of Scotland, Bill Shackleton,  has produced a book of his recollections - "Keeping it Cheery."

 His "Rave Reviews" include;
