Tour 2001 Abington C.C. Go Overseas
Well....The Isle Of Wight anyway
This year we are crossing the water to visit the Isle of Wight for 3 days of drinking, cricket, drinking, sightseeing, drinking, more cricket and maybe a drink or too.
Currently 14 reprobates, I mean players will be going some of which will be safely shackled to their spouses. More details including itinerary and other information will be posted as soon as I have it.
This will be the third tour we have undertaken, previous excursions have been to Bournemouth in 1997, including an unforgettable game at Burleigh in the New Forest (complete with ponies). Last year saw us visit Margate which included what was for most of us our first opportunity to play on what had been a "proper" first class ground against Dover C.C.
Over the coming weeks, we hope to have footage and reports of these previous tours.
