The prepared stacks are placed in the Spray Booth (a.k.a. a cardboard box on end) and give a good coat of 3M 77 spray adhesive.

This is allowed to dry for 3-4 minutes then the cores are carefully brought into contact and gently aligned before pressing firmly together to achieve a permanent glued joint. The beds are joined as well to give a good working surface during the next preparations.
