Here are some notes on finishing the wing.

First shot is a raw out of the bag wing

Then you scrape and sand down the LE. Hopefully not too much work if you were careful with the Mylar and cloth placement. Take care with Carbon dust (See the Cloth Materials Handling section for more info).

Phil then uses a bright light to see where the foam TE is through the Kevlar. Marks this spot on masking tape strips at root, tip and TE break points.

.... and then trims a small distance behind with his template to give a nice thin straight TE.

Finally having sawn the wing in half using a carbide blade in a circular saw, he burns the servo wire channel. The servo holes are routed out the bottom surface (again with a jig).

And that just leaves hinging the Flaperon.....
