Here is a list of some of my favorite sites and e-mail forums...... See the Information pages for Battery, Receiver and Servo Links

horizontal rule

Web Sites:

bullet

BARCS - The best site for RC Soaring in the UK and great links to the wider world

bullet

The newer F3K UK and DLG BARCS site

bullet

Spectre 2K4 - Sussex based team effort.

bullet

SuperGee II - The "roll your own" standard bearer by Mark Drela (That's until he designs his next machine).

bullet

Charles River Soaring Club site, SuperGee II section, articles and loads of good stuff.

bullet

Martin Hepperle's aerodynamics site (buttons for Aerodynamics and How do I... are great)

E-mail lists: More effort to stay up to date but worth registering and popping by once in a while even if you elect not to get the e-mails.

The first few are all at http://groups.yahoo.com  and are:

SALGlider - Just the best list for SAL and DLG information and discussion
Allegro-Lite - Another Mark Drela design but a lot of SuperGee and other stuff turns up here
RCSE - the longest running soaring board that I know of, mainly USA based

XFoil, DLGFoil and software_Profili  groups all really linked to XFoil airfoil design package (It's a free bit of software and it's designed by some bloke called Mark Drela... top stuff but not for the faint hearted)

CNCFoamCutters and DecoupeCNC(in French) if CNC hotwire cutters are your thing.

Then there is the Hand Launch forum at RCGroups ("www.rcgroups.com" -> "Sailplanes" -> "Hand launch") and now a UK forum for F3K and DLG
