"Errrrr........, what.....?" you might be thinking. And who can blame you. All a bit cryptic, isn't it? Well The Gobmeister is pleased to be able to blow away some of the mists of ignorance.
Product RED was created by Bono and Bobby Shriver, Chairman of DATA (Debt Aids Trade Africa), to raise awareness and money for The Global Fund by teaming up with the world's most iconic brands to produce RED-branded products. A percentage of each RED product sold is given to The Global Fund. The money helps women and children with HIV / AIDS in Africa.
One of the (RED)TM products now available is this incredibly suave, ultra-slim Motorola SLVR mobile phone. Available for any network, this handset can be bought by Pay-As-You-Go customers or had as a conditional upgrade by Pay-Monthly customers. A proportion of your call & text charges gets donated to The Global Fund.
