Now for something a bit different. As many of you know, The Gobmeister is a big fan of U2, and a great admirer of the philanthropic endeavours of their frontman Bono. Well it turns out that in 2005, Bono was one of the recipients of a TED award. TED is an organisation which promotes the distribution of ideas from the world's great thinkers and doers (Technology Entertainment Design - "Ideas Worth Spreading").
Upon receiving his award, Bono was unable to attend the presentation in person, but instead recorded this thank you speech. In it he sets out some interesting ideas and challenges. It's quite long (about 28 mins) but definitely well worth a watch.
