Here we go again then, with more bonkers batteries for your delight and delectation. Unfortunately, due to the increasingly long period between updates, The Gobmeister cannot recall who or where this first one came from. Undoubtedly a good find though.
Next we say "Well done" and "Thank you" to Johnny 5 for spotting (and forking out actual coin-of-the-realm for) these apparently rather self-confident cells. To see how much he splashed out just click on the photo!
Credit for this next one must land firmly on the shoulders of the hawk-eyed Mrs.Gobmeister (her optician is very good!). This one was spotted lurking in the packaging of a mini-whisk on sale in Sainsburys' Romford store (I think the whisk is for frothing-up poncey coffee - you know, latté etc.).
And now, at long last, we can say "Congratulations" to John ("Johnny English") Harrison. After at least 2 submissions of brands which had already been featured, he has managed to come up with a first sighting of these beauties. Considering their name, it is most appropriate that they came with a piece of gym equipment (an excercise bike to be precise).
Do note that these are made by the good people of the BENY SPORTS CO. LTD.
A visit to the home of The Gobmeister's mum yielded this next brand, found in the remote control of her rented Sanyo VCR/DVD player.
"Top'X Heavy Duty" apparently.....
At this point, despite the triumph of the preceding find, The Gobmeister has to reluctantly hang his head in shame and admit that this next brand was found by Spinmeister Robert in the very home of Mr. & Mrs.Gobmeister!
"And where exactly was this gem found?" you might well be asking. Well, inside what can only be described as a toy Ninja hamster. "Inside a what?!" you cry. Click on the box below and you will see.
It's a mad world, innit?
And finally (for now) a brace of oriental offerings, courtesy of Johnny 5. The origins of the first may be disclosed at a later date, but the second came with his grandad's Matsui Freeview remote control. Here's the first:
And here is the second:
Hold it, hold it, hold it. Phew! Nearly omitted this one. Fortunately your beloved Gobmeister decided to have one more trawl back through his email inbox, and spotted this additional submission from the Fivemeister, about which he reports: "Saw these in the window of "Atomic Comics", it's a packet of batteries that cost £60 and you get a free motorized talking dalek.
LARGE!
Just when The Gobmeister thought he'd got this "Round 7" flock of Bonkers Batteries safely gathered in, this pair of beauties surfaced! Garnered from no lesser place than the house of God!! Yes, on the occasion of a combined service with High Road Baptist, Oasis Church, and St.Chad's Chadwell Heath, a remote control for a JVC portable CD/radio player yielded this rich fruit. Many thanks to Adam Peake from High Road Baptist for giving these up for the website. Cheers Adam! God bless yer mate!

Stylishly posed against the brickwork don't you think?
Yep, that really is all for now folks, but don't forget to keep checking those remote controls, kiddies' toys, market stalls, cheapo shops, etc. for those rare and sometimes ridiculous brands of battery. Happy hunting!
