No waffling pre-amble this time, just straight in with the batteries. First up for Round Six we have this offering from Spinmeister Robert. Yet another rip-off of the Duracell livery.
Golfmeister Nigel deserves the credit for this next offering. One of his presents to The Gobmeister last Christmas was an Electric Shock Reaction Test Game. A superb pressie by any measure, but all the more fantastic for including these little beauties:
Possibly an inability to spell, or maybe even a copyright block prevented the manufacturer of this next battery from giving it the wonderful name of "Titan".
This next one comes with an apology from Johnny 5 for the relatively poor picture quality - due in part to the fact that it was taken on a camera phone, and in part to the fact that J5 was trying not to attract too much attention from the Maplin store staff. Nevertheless, we can still make out the brand "SDB"
After months of resistance (ha ha), The Gobmeister has now decided to yield to pressure from various quarters to allow certain "proprietary high street variations" into the hallowed halls of this Bizarre Batteries Bazaar. He does not claim that these are necessarily rare, merely interesting, eye-catching, or amusing.
One which caught Mrs.Gobmeister's eye, with it's rather fetching sky-blue livery, was this effort from Tesco.
