First up for Round 12 we say "10 out of 10 for effort, 6 out of 10 for success" to Steve P. Delivered in a sealed envelope via a third party were these 2 batteries:
We'll give him 1 out of 5 for the "Radiant" - only a slightly different livery to the one featured in Round 3, but certainly 5 out of 5 for the "Platinum"!
Next we have an undeniable 5 out of 5 for the increasingly beautiful and intelligent Mrs.Gobmeister. While shopping in Romford with The Gobmeister she insisted on going into the "99p Shop" next to Romford Market, where these starlets awaited:
Konnoc?! Never 'eard of 'em!
And now for a slight diversion. Not a battery as such, but a battery-related find from Spinmeister Rob:
This was taken from a magazine advert. The astute among you will already have noticed that one of the batteries has probably been inserted incorrectly. This could result in leakage of highly corrosive chemicals into the office, posing a severe risk to the health of the workers, and to the health of those who are merely pretending to work...
OK, back to the genuine stuff now. After several failed attempts, and a partial credit for the "New Leader" batteries in Round 6, here at long last are a couple of successful finds from The Gobmeister's brother Nigel (a.k.a. The Golfmeister):
Apparently The Golfmeister found the "Max Energy" in a TV remote on a visit to his girlfriend's sister's place in Bristol. The Gobmeister can't remember where his bro' said the McNair was found. Cracking good find tho'!
Wastemeister Aarron sent this next offering in. Found in a "Poundshop" in Weymouth:
Right, well that appears to be it for Round 12. But don't forget, keep yer eyes peeled for those Bonkers Batteries, and send them (or a photo of them) to The Gobmeister for inclusion in the next round !
