Good question! Those who have heard it know already, those who haven't don't know what they've been missing! So, GobFM, WHAT IS IT? Right...., well...., erm...., it's a musical journey! (If you've seen U2's "Rattle And Hum" film you'll get that, if not then you won't).
GobFM is pseudo-radio: a cassette-based, organic, mutated, sometimes alcoholic, sometimes spiritual, sometimes slick, sometimes messy, self-important, self-regarding conglomoration of music, musings, features, and above all........, FUN.
To the best of our knowledge, there are about 20 "shows" in existence. Mostly about 90 minutes in length, but at least one was only an hour ("The GobFM Light Programme"). Copies get distributed to certain privileged family members and friends,..... and we do mean privileged.
Geographically, GobFM is based in Chadwell Heath, Essex, UK. Formerly out of "GobFM Towers", but now firmly and comfortably ensconced in the comparitively palatial "GobFM Mansions" "GobFM Manor".
