Rapid and continuous changes taking place in every area of our lives require us to be able to cope with change, adapt easily and above all, learn quickly and easily throughout our lifespan. Our early educational and learning experiences have not properly equipped us for these challenges.

It is now widely acknowledged that knowing How to learn has become even more important than knowing What to learn.

Knowing how to learn is about:

  1. Knowing how to take control of your learning
  2. Knowing how to develop a personal learning plan
  3. Knowing your strengths and weaknesses as a learner
  4. Knowing your preferred learning style
  5. Knowing how to overcome blocks to learning
  6. Knowing how to use a variety of resources and tools to support learning

This site is designed to help you look at how you learn and perhaps enable you to learn more easily!

The site is a web resource to be used as part of a classroom module. The design of this program is deliberately interactive, involving a range of activities to help adults learn how to learn.
