Woodchester Mansion incident

 

 

Ghostvigils recently took park in an Investigation at Woodchester Mansions

This place seems to be a firm favourite with many Ghost Hunting groups

And has been reported on so many times it would seem overkill for me to do so

However one incident of this Investigation I feel needs to be shared

 

We were doing a small group séance six Paranormal Investigators (PI’s)  

Sat in the anti room next to the chapel calling out for spirit to come fourth and join us.

We were sat in a circle, myself facing small door into the chapel and half facing the

Corridor entrance, (these are the two exits from this room)

A person to my left facing the corridor exit directly,

A person sitting opposite me with the same view of the corridor exit as myself,

and three people who effectively had their backs to the corridor exit.

The Corridor exit is key here or at least sight of it.

 

As we all sat there calling out, we were getting noises, taps, bangs even

Dripping sounds, but nothing conclusive as being paranormal, suspicious

of course but not conclusive. Then three people in all saw what appeared to be a

Shadow of figure pass by the door, it was a full figure except for the feet

And it appeared to glide along the corridor.

It moved from the chapel area and along the corridor into the main part of the building.

We all looked at each other in disbelief and excitement.

Each then verified what they had just seen.

Three people seeing the same thing at the same time, was unheard of.

Each giving a matching detailed description of the figure

 

The figure was about 6 feet tall and wearing what appeared to be a hooded garment

But not a robe such as Monk or priest

It was in view four about 2 seconds as it moved past the corridor exit, and seemed

To be unaware of us

This was not just a corner of the eye glimpse but in full sight

 

We checked the corridor but it was empty, we checked outside both sides it was clear

To us that there was nothing outside that could of projected such an image.

 

So what was this figure, a shadow, if so from what? And where?

Was it paranormal, again if so what was it, a ghost? Or Spirit?

If it was an illusion, could three people see and illusion so clearly at the same time?

 

Once again I leave an Investigation with more questions than answers

But I did see something. Of that I have no doubt. Moreover I cannot offer an explanation
