Facelift for Two Gates Working Men's Club

24th February 1962 - An improvement scheme at the Two Gates Working Men's Club was officially opened on Saturday last week. The impressive alterations include a new underground cellar, lounge, games room, bar and modern flat over the premises. The opening ceremony was performed by Mr. Ron Pugh marketing manager for Mitchell's and Butlers. Pictured below are Mr.R.J.Wilcox, brewery representative, Mr.L.Lakin, club chairman, Mr.T.Hawley, secretary, and Mr. and Mrs. G.Barber, the steward and stewardess.
