Local boxers meet the two great old boxersTwo great old boxers03rd April 1992 -- Tamworth ABS's latest show brought together stars of the past and present. For Two Gates WMC event of Friday showcased a number of bright young local favorites and also welcomed two great old boxers of the past. They were Bert Strong (a runner up in a British title fight) and Tommy Pardoe who was a British champion as long ago as 1929. The two old fighters are pictured by John Walker alongside three of Tamworth's young hopefuls - Mark Barlow, Justin Owen and Ian Robinson.
