Bad Boy Bonnet Extension

This is a fibre glass (GRP) bonnet extension which fits onto the front edge of the Calibra bonnet. It instantly extends the front edge of the bonnet giving a more aggressive look to the front of the car.

The extension can either be 'flushed' into the original bonnet to give a smooth look or can be left un-filled. The choice is yours.

There are many ways of attaching the extension to the bonnet, but we would recommend the following method.

• Grind the paint off the top and bottom edge of the bonnet

• Epoxy resin the extension onto the underside of the bonnet

• Secure with tape, rivets or screws whilst the resin hardens

• Lay layers of fibreglass mat over the top of the extension and onto the bonnet

• Sand back the fibreglass

• Apply filler over the fibreglass and sand until smooth

• Prime and paint

Note: You may want to sand back the edges of the extension to ensure they meet the ends of the wings at the correct position & angle.
