SUMMERS PAGE

Summer is a cross between a Red Persian and a Chocolate British Shorthair. She will hopefully help retain the bone in the Shorthairs and improve type.

In 2008 Summer and Bennett produced 1 single kitten. Originally believed to be a male but eventually it transpired she was a female!! It was my mistake as I sexed the kitten (solo) at birth and did not recheck . She grew at a rate of knots which only added to my assumption that she was a he. It was my lovely vet Ann that spotted my mistake and off home I went to make the very embarrassing call to her new owner .

She is one that got away as I would have definitely kept her. She now lives a life of complete luxury

2009

Summer was mated to Rhubarb (Jazfire Spatacus) who is a lilac Bi Colour British Shorthair. She looked to be carrying maybe 2 kittens and went on to produce 6.

4 boys and 2 girls and yes before you ask I did double check...

1 red shorthair male, 1 blue bi colour shorthair male, 1 bluecream shorthair female, 1 lilac tortie & white shorthair female.

1 cream longhair male and 1 red bi colour longhair male.

The Cream longhair was the palest cream I have ever seen. All kittens were big boned which is what I was hoping for.

I have retained the 2 females, a bluecream and a lilac tortie and white, both shorthairs.
