Safety Dots help to provide improved visual awareness of glass windows and doors.
With the popular use of large glass windows and doors, both in our homes and in businesses, it is important to provide visual awareness of glass to reduce the risk of injury.
Safety dots can help assist in this area, without spoiling the look.
Safety dots are suitable for use at Home or Work. They are available in different shapes, colours and size and are easy to apply. Durable for use on both interior or exterior glass.
Visual awareness for glass
Since 1975 the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (HSWA) has required employers, the self employed and certain people who have control over workplaces to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety of anyone who may be affected by their work activities. So if glazing constitutes a risk, reasonably practicable measures need to be taken to deal with it.
The Workplace (Heath, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992. Regulation 14 requires that every window or other transparent or translucent surface in a wall, partition, door or gate should, where necessary for reasons of health or safety, be of a safety material or be protected against breakage of the transparent or translucent material; and be appropriately marked or incorporate features to make it apparent.

Just the gift?
Safety dots make an ideal gift for family, friends and colleagues who just about have everything.
Safety Dots do not prevent glass from breaking or provide any physical protection to persons or animals in the unfortunate event that they accidently travel into or through glass. Safety dots may need to be used in conjuntion with other safety measures in particular environments. Always consult a professional for advice.
